MCHB becomes a compatibility view in SAP S/4HANA.
Survives as a compatibility view rather than a real table. Existing reports keep running, which is exactly why this one gets missed; writes are not supported and the failure surfaces later.
Stock quantities split by batch (lot), plant, and storage location. Where MARD gives total stock per plant/storage location, MCHB drills down to the individual batch level. Pharmaceutical and food companies live in this table.
| Table | MCHB |

| What it is | Batch Stocks |
| Module | MM |
| Fate in S/4HANA | Compatibility view — reads still work |
