MSEG is replaced in SAP S/4HANA.
The table may still exist, but it is no longer where the data lives, and there is no same-named view standing in for it. Existing SELECTs either fail or quietly return stale and partial answers, which is the more dangerous outcome.
The line items of every goods movement in ECC6. What material moved, how many, from/to which storage location, movement type, cost centre, order. This is the backbone of inventory reporting in ECC6.
