Dugmore Mine
Where a Booyzen worked underground. The Indwe marriage register of 21 September 1908 gives both bride and groom's dwelling place as “Dugmore Mijn” and the groom's trade as “Mijnwerker”. It is the only mine anywhere in this archive attached to a named member of this family, and it is coal in the Cape rather than gold on the Rand. The coordinates are approximate — the workings were at Indwe and the exact site is not yet fixed.
