The households
Every family group this archive has assembled, with the document that records the marriage and the document that puts each child in it. A household here is a claim with a source, not a box on a chart.
What counts as a household
A marriage, or a pairing the records treat as one, together with the children a document places under it. 37 of the 40 rest on a record this archive has read; the rest come from the family tree and say so.
Two of these are not marriages at all and are drawn anyway, because the register names the parents and this archive does not tidy that away. Where a household carries a caveat — a mother the document does not name, a profile holding two men — the caveat is printed with it.
