They are grandchildren: a Dorothea Regina baptised at Slang River in 1892 and a Ruben Jacobus Hosea at Dordrecht in 1888, both to Henry Nicholas Barry and Anna Johanna Maria Schoeman. The page also gives Margaretha Kolbe's death as 2 AUGUST 1912, where this archive had only the year. And it says the marriage took place at “Burghersdorp (probably)” — a son of the house, writing in English with a solicitor's help, who did not know where his parents married and put it in brackets.…
