George Downing Daschner
A TWELFTH CHILD, and not on the 1942 death notice because he was already dead when it was written. The Johannesburg cemetery index has him buried at Brixton on 20 June 1925, the year he was born. He carries George Downing — the sixth Booyzen or Barry forename to cross into this family, and the one that makes the pattern impossible to read as coincidence. FROM AN INDEX, not from an image; the burial register has not been read.

No family is drawn here, because none is recorded. This archive holds George Downing Daschner as a name on a document — a witness at a font, a signature on a form, a person named in someone else's list — and has no record of who their parents, spouse or children were. That is a statement about the sources, not about the person. Every record naming them →

And a sixth, off the 1942 list The Johannesburg cemetery index carries a George Downing Daschner , buried at Brixton on 20 June 1925, the year he was born. He is not on his father's death notice because he was dead seventeen years before it was written — a twelfth child. George Downing is the name of Kathleen Barry's own grandson, born in 1901, and here it is on an infant in another family in the same decade. A second of the name died in 1998.…

A dossier is every mention of a person anywhere in this archive, gathered automatically after the site is built and linked back to the page it appears on. Identity here is by NAME, not by resolved individual — where two people share a name they share this page, and the archive says so rather than guessing. Nothing on a dossier page is new evidence; it is the same evidence, brought together.
