  “A SECOND SON OF THIS COUPLE, AND HE IS NEW. Arienzo, Matrimoni 1854, act 20, found on 21 September 2026 in a register nobody here had swept:
  
  «sono comparsi nella Casa Comunale FRANCESCO FALCO maggiore, di anni quarantotto, nato in Arienzo, di professione contadino, domiciliato strada CAMELLARA, figlio del fu RAFFAELE, di professione simile, domiciliato ivi, e della fu CHIARA RIVETTI, di professione filatrice, domiciliata ivi, VEDOVO DI RAFFAELA FALCO; e CORNELIA SABATINO maggiore, di anni cinquanta, di professione contadina, nata in Arienzo … figlia del fu [MATTEO], di professione simile, domiciliato ivi, e della fu ALBERTA VERDICCHIO, di professione filatrice, domiciliata ivi, VEDOVA DI ANTONIO LETTIERI».
  
  The church celebration followed on 27 August 1854 at Sant'Andrea Apostolo, before CLEMENTE GIGLIO and ALFONSO VERDICCHIO. The civil act's own day is not resolved at this filming and is left unread.
  
  Forty-eight in August 1854 puts his birth about 1806 — a year before his brother Michele, or the clerks guessed, which they do.
  
  HE HAD MARRIED A FALCO. «VEDOVO DI RAFFAELA FALCO». And this archive holds a «FRANCESCANTONIO FALCO» whose wife is a RAFFAELA FALCO — the parents of PASQUALINA FALCO, dead 1836 — entered as a child of PASQUALE Falco and Chiara Rivetti, not of Raffaele.
  
  THAT IS THE MICHELE-AND-MICHELANGELO PROBLEM ARRIVING A SECOND TIME, AND IT IS NOT RESOLVED HERE. Either Francescantonio and Francesco are two men — as Michelangelo and Michele turned out to be, one son of Pasquale and one of Raffaele — or one of the two filiations this archive holds is wrong. Both readings are left standing and the question is raised on the work list.”
