Carlos Augusto Federico LERENA Salvanach (b. 9 July 1883)
IMAGE READ 14 September 2026, and two things this row got wrong are now fixed. It called the record a "Retiro BAPTISM"; it is an INFORMACION MATRIMONIAL, the sworn pre-marriage enquiry. And it read the father as ALBERTO, guessing GILBERTO - the act says GILBERTO plainly, so the guess can stop being a guess. "Don Carlos Lerena, natural de la Rep. Oriental, bautizado en la Iglesia de el CORDON, Dep. de Montevideo, de treinta anos, soltero, domiciliado en Pueyrredon 1750, hijo de D. Gilberto Lerena y de Dona Julia Salvanach." He married ROSA MARIA EPPENS. This IDENTIFIES the CEMLA couple 'Carlos Lerena 41 Uruguayan' and 'Rosa M. E. Lerena 39 Argentine' arriving Buenos Aires from Montevideo 27 May 1926 - two independent sources, same couple. AND IT NAMES WHERE HIS BAPTISM IS: the Iglesia del CORDON, Montevideo - a third Montevideo parish for this family, after San Francisco de Asis and the Catedral Basilica. THREE REGISTER ROWS WERE THIS ONE MAN, MERGED 20 September 2026. This archive had him as "Carlos Augusto Federico LERENA" (born 9 July 1883, from Uruguayan civil registration), as "Carlos LERENA Salvanach" (the 1914 informacion matrimonial), and as "Carlos LERENA (b.1885, arr. 1926)" (the CEMLA crossing). The note above had already identified the second with the third - "two independent sources, same couple" - and the rows were never joined. The arithmetic settles the first: the act of 25 March 1914 calls him "de treinta anos", and a man born 9 July 1883 is exactly thirty that March. Same parents, same birthplace, same city, and the CEMLA wife "Rosa M. E. Lerena" is ROSA MARIA EPPENS, whom the act names. And the merge exposed a file disagreeing with the register. The 1914 act calls him SOLTERO at thirty, while data/relations.tsv gave him a wife ADELA CAMIGLIA and a son AVELINO CARLOS baptised at Mendoza in 1904. That contradiction was already settled here and the relations file had not been told: the row for ROSA MARIA EPPENS has said since 14 September that her Carlos is NOT Adela Camiglia's - "two men, one name, and the register now says so on both rows". It said so on the register rows and not on the edges. The Mendoza man now has a row of his own and the edges point at him.
