  “«…quali hanno dichiarato che a dì diciannove del mese corrente di Febraro, ad ore ventuno, ANGELA ZIMBARDO, MOGLIE DI MATTEO CARFORA, figlia delli furono PASQUALE ZIMBARDO, ed ANTONIA SIMINO». The declarant is «parente della stessa defonta».
  
  SHE IS A PROBLEM FOR A HOUSEHOLD THIS ARCHIVE ALREADY HOLDS, AND THE PROBLEM IS NOT SOLVED HERE. The marriage act of 29 June 1828 makes FRANCESCO CARFORA of strada Signorindico «figlio di MATTEO CARFORA DEFUNTO … e di GRAZIA ZIMBARDO DEFUNTA», and gives his age as twenty-eight, so he was born about 1800.
  
  So a Matteo Carfora had a wife GRAZIA Zimbardo who bore a son about 1800, and a Matteo Carfora had a wife ANGELA Zimbardo who died in 1813. Three readings fit and this archive cannot choose between them:
  
  - one man, two wives, both Zimbardo — a widower marrying his late wife's sister was ordinary, and Pasquale Zimbardo and Antonia Simino would then be Angela's parents only; - one man, one wife, and one of the two acts has her forename wrong — in which case Angela is Francesco Carfora's mother and he lost her at about thirteen; - two different Matteo Carfora, which the 1828 act itself warns of by naming a CARFORA MATTEO e CRISCI DIAMANTE of Santa Maria a Vico.
  
  The 1828 word was re-read at full resolution on 22 September 2026 before this was written. It says GRAZIA. So the disagreement is between two documents, not between a document and a bad reading. This household is published as its own and is NOT merged with Francesco Carfora's.”
