  “«è comparso ANIELLO CARFORA, di anni trentuno, di professione contadino, domiciliato in questo Comune STRADA CAMELLARA, quale ci ha presentato un Maschio» — atto of 10 January 1831. A CARFORA HOUSEHOLD ON THE FALCO'S OWN STREET, thirty years before the marriage act that first told this archive the Carfora were an Arienzo family at all. Thirty-one here, so born about 1800 — the same generation as «[?]erio Carfora», Maria Antonia's father. He is not that man: this one's wife is Orsola Porrino. THIS HOUSEHOLD IS NOT JOINED TO ANY OTHER IN THIS ARCHIVE. It is recorded because work-list row 63 asked whether the Carfora were an Arienzo family at all, and the answer is that they were — three separate Carfora households appear in a single year of one register. Whether any of them is the house of «[?]erio Carfora and Pasqua Morgillo» is NOT established and is not claimed.
  
  Verified against the image, work-list row 58 — and the act has a number this archive never recorded: it is ATTO 6. The parish named in the second column is SANT'ANDREA APOSTOLO DI ARIENZO. The witness to the presentation is MARCELLO RIVETTI, forty-eight, contadino — a Rivetti of the right generation on the Falco's street, recorded and not claimed.”
