His death extract is document 2 of the 1860 dossier: Forchia, act 20, 8 August 1838, at twelve, in his own house — CARMINE ANNECCHINO, born in Forchia, fifty-two, colono, of the MASSERIA DE' PRETI, son of ANTONIO ANNECCHINO and MARIA GUIDA, both already dead. Declared by Domenico Stroffolino, fifty, colono, and Giovanni Lauriello, forty, viaticale.

    This archive holds a SECOND Carmine Annecchino of Forchia — the one at the head of «Carmine Annecchino & Maria Carfora», fathering children there from 1883 to 1901. A man dead in 1838 did not father a child in 1901, so the two are now named apart. Neither is claimed as kin to the other; Forchia reused this name.”
