Declared by LUCA CIOFFI, 33, sartore, and GIOVANNI CIOFFI, 43, contadino, both «regnicolo, domiciliato in strada Camellara». (This archive published «48» for Giovanni and, separately on the corrections page, «COSSI» for both. The act read at magnification on 15 September gives 33 and 43, and the surname carries the tall ff ligature with a long descender — CIOFFI. The age is corrected here; the surname never needed correcting in this file.) She had outlived her husband by nearly nine years.”
