What the registers say
- identified — 16 Jul 1832 , Arienzo, strada Camellara “THE «FRANCESCO FALCO» OF THIS HOUSEHOLD IS FRANCESCANTONIO FALCO, SON OF PASQUALE FALCO AND CHIARA RIVETTI. The archive has carried this household since 13 September 2026 with the note that «her husband was also a Falco, which at Arienzo is common enough to prove nothing on its own». The 1832 marriage index proves it: same bride, same parents, and the groom's parentage stated. Their three recorded children — Carmina d. 19 Dec 1832, Clemente d. 14 Aug 1853, Pasqualina d. 14 Sep 1836 — are therefore GRANDCHILDREN OF MATTEO FALCO TWICE OVER, through both of his sons”ANTENATI an_ua14131 (Arienzo, Matrimonj indice 1832) img 1 atto 8 — READ FROM THE IMAGE
- marriage — 6 Jul 1832 , Arienzo, strada Camellara “THE ACT BEHIND THE INDEX, OPENED 22 SEPTEMBER 2026 — AND THE INDEX WAS RIGHT. This household rested on one line of the 1832 marriage tavola. The act itself:
PASQUALE, and the clerk drew a dash where «defunto» would go and left it empty. Both his parents are alive on 6 July 1832 — and this archive holds Pasquale Falco's death on 1 October 1834, twenty-seven months later, which agrees.
Twenty-six in July 1832 puts his birth about 1806. The church celebration followed on 16 July, before a VERDICCHIO and a DI GUIDA — the bride's own surname among the witnesses.
AND THIS DEEPENS WORK-LIST ROW 87 INSTEAD OF CLOSING IT. Act 20 of the 1854 register gives a FRANCESCO FALCO, forty-eight — born about 1806 — contadino of strada Camellara, son of the fu RAFFAELE and the fu CHIARA RIVETTI, widower of a RAFFAELA FALCO. Everything matches except the father, and the two filiations are each internally consistent: Pasquale is alive in 1832 and died in 1834; Raffaele was dead before February 1850. Neither act is contradicting itself. They are contradicting each other, or they are two men.”ANTENATI an_ua14236 img9r act8 — READ FROM THE IMAGE

Others of the same name
This parish repeats its names relentlessly — there are three Maria Falco and four Pasquale. These are different people, kept apart on purpose rather than merged into one.
