  Nineteen and a MINOR in July 1832 — born about 1813. A Falco married a Falco, and the bride is of the Giuseppe Falco and Antonia di Guida house while the groom is of the Pasquale Falco and Chiara Rivetti house.
  
  Her father is a COLONO here, which is the word his son Crescenzo's marriage act uses for him in 1845 and the word the 1843 death register uses. Her mother's forename is written «ANTONINA», not Antonia; this archive keeps Antonia di Guida and records the variant.

  «MOGLIE DI FRANCESCO FALCO» IS WRITTEN OUT IN FULL, AND IT IS NOT «FRANCESCANTONIO». That is the whole point of work-list row 87, which had half-settled on a register citation. It now rests on the act. Four months later a FRANCESCO FALCO of strada Camellara married again as «VEDOVO DI RAFFAELA FALCO» — so the FRANCESCO of 1854 and the FRANCESCANTONIO of 1832 are one man.
  
  Thirty-four in April 1854 puts her birth about 1820; her marriage act of July 1832 makes her nineteen, which is 1813. The clerks guessed, as this archive has demonstrated to the day — forty on 2 April 1825 and forty-five on 6 April 1825, same office, same man. The parents, the street and the husband's name are not guesses.
  
  Both her parents are named living: «figlia di GIUSEPPE FALCO … domiciliato ivi, e di ANTONIA GUIDA, domiciliata ivi», neither marked «fu». Carried as a weak inference on the civil series, never alone.
  
  Declared by MATTEO and CLEMENTE, sixty-six and forty, of strada PORTA DI SOPRA — not by her husband, and not by a Falco. Surname faint, reading as CRISCI, not claimed. Their trade is MINISCALCO — farriers — read not from this act, which would not yield it at any magnification, but from a clearer hand in the 1859 marriage register and confirmed against this archive's own register.”
