What the registers say
- named as declarant — 6 Sep 1819 , Arienzo, strada Maddalena “«e di Giuseppe di Guida, di anni sessantotto, di professione massaro di campagna, domiciliato in questo comune, strada Maddalena» — born about 1751. HE IS ANTONIA DI GUIDA'S FATHER: the parish register gives him nine children by Maddalena Rivetta between 1773 and 1791, Antonia among them.”ANTENATI an_ua14321 img29r
- named , Arienzo “«figlio di GIUSEPPE DI GUIDA» — no «fu».
WEAK INFERENCE ONLY, AND THIS PAGE ASSERTED IT UNTIL 20 SEPTEMBER 2026. It read «no «fu», so alive in October 1817» — a flat statement of fact. On 14 September 2026 this archive DISPROVED the «quondam» signal for the parish Latin register: Matteo Falco is «filium Matthaei*», with no «q.», seventeen days after his own burial. Civil acts are a different tradition and this one is probably sound, but it no longer carries the weight the sentence gave it.
The downgrade was written intodata/households.tsvon 14 September and never into the file the site is built from, so the site went on asserting for six days what the archive had already stopped believing. Found by reconciling the two files — work-list row 75.
HELD IN A SEPARATE HOUSEHOLD UNTIL 23 SEPTEMBER 2026, WHEN THIS ARCHIVE'S OWN NOTE ALREADY SAID IT WAS THE SAME COUPLE. Angelo Andrea di Guida's civil death act names his parents «figlio di GIUSEPPE DI GUIDA e MICHEDALENA RIVETTI», and the parish baptised him on 29 November 1791 to GIUSEPPE DI GUIDA and MADDALENA RIVETTA. That match — parish against civil, two independent series, one household — is what proved Antonia di Guida's parentage in the first place. The archive then kept the two spellings as three separate households, so Antonia di Guida's own father stood twice on her page.
«Michedalena» is the civil scribe's blend: the parish wrote Magdalena for forty years. The person is filed under the parish form and the evidence still quotes the clerk word for word**.”ANTENATI an_ua14319 img59r

This parish repeats its names relentlessly — there are three Maria Falco and four Pasquale. These are different people, kept apart on purpose rather than merged into one.
