Act 111: «L'anno mille ottocento QUARANTACINQUE, il dì VENTIDUE del mese di NOVEMBRE, ad ore SEDICI … è comparso CRESCENZO FALCO, di anni VENTICINQUE, di professione CONTADINO, domiciliato in questo comune STRADA CAMELLARA, quale ci ha presentato una FEMINA … che la stessa è nata da MARIA MORGILLO sua moglie legittima, di anni VENTITRE, domiciliata collo stesso, e da lui dichiarante … nel giorno VENTUNO del mese di NOVEMBRE anno corrente, alle ore DUE, nella casa sua propria d'abitazione … di dare alla neonata il nome di MARIA FELICE».
  
  Born 21 November 1845 at two in the morning; declared the next day; baptised at Sant'Andrea Apostolo on the 23rd, the parish notice returned the same day and copied into the INDICAZIONE column — «il Sacramento del Battesimo è stato amministrato a MARIA FELICIA FALCO».
  
  HER PARENTS MARRIED ON 2 FEBRUARY 1845. She was born nine months and nineteen days later.

  «A 3 Febbrajo 1873 l'Uff.e dello Stato Civ.e d'ARIENZO sposò MARIA FELICE FALCO con PASQUALE QUOTOLO — Caserta 18 Giugno 1884». Arienzo's civil registers for 1866–1890 are gone, so this margin is the only record of that marriage this archive can reach — the same shape as Pasqua Falco's of 1880, found in the margin of her own 1823 birth act.

  Found by re-sweeping the 1845 register at the PARENTS band for work-list row 43. The row's earlier pass swept images 118–135 on the declarant line; the act is at 116–117, just outside the window.”

  “FROM THE MARGIN OF HER OWN BIRTH ACT, and there is nowhere else it could come from. «A 3 Febbrajo 1873 l'Uff.e dello Stato Civ.e d'ARIENZO sposò MARIA FELICE FALCO con PASQUALE QUOTOLO — Caserta 18 Giugno 1884». Arienzo's civil registers for 1866–1890 do not survive, so a wedding of 1873 is unreachable in the ordinary way; the annotation on the 1845 leaf is the whole record.
  
  PASQUALE QUOTOLO IS NOT CLAIMED AS KIN TO ANYONE HERE. The Quotolo of Arienzo recur in these registers — a FRANCESCO QUOTOLO of strada Maddalena married to VITTORIA DI GUIDA in 1816 and 1818, a PIETRO QUOTOLO of the same street in 1818 and 1825, a GIUSEPPE QUOTOLO, massaro, aged seventy-two in 1818 — and nothing joins any of them to this man.”
