What the registers say
- death — 1809 , Arienzo, strada Camellara “A SECOND GIUSEPPE FALCO ON STRADA CAMELLARA, WITH A DIFFERENT WIFE, IN THE SAME REGISTER AS THE FIRST.
«è morto NICOLA FALCO — d'anni DUE — di professione contadino — domiciliante in detta Università, ed abitante nella strada della CAMELLARA, figlio di GIUSEPPE FALCO, ed GELSOMINA VIGLIOTTA, di professione contadini, domiciliati nella stessa Università, e Strada». The clerk writes her name «Felsomina»; Gelsomina is the name.
THIS ARCHIVE ALREADY HAD A GIUSEPPE FALCO IN THIS VOLUME. Act 38 of 28 August 1809 buries MATTEO FALCO, fourteen months, «figlio di GIUSEPPE FALCO, ed ANTONIA DI GUIDA, di professione MASSARI», on strada SANT'ANDREA.
THE TWO ACTS ARE IN ONE YEAR'S REGISTER AND THEY DISAGREE ON EVERYTHING BUT THE NAME — different wife, different street, different trade. Massari held land; contadini worked it. There were two Giuseppe Falco at Arienzo in 1809 and this register proves it in its own pages. [[two-falco-families-arienzo]]
IT WAS IN THE HALF NOBODY READ. This volume puts two acts on every image — odd numbers on the left page, even on the right — and when this archive swept it on 21 September 2026 it read only the right pages. The Matteo Falco act is act 38 and was found. Nicola Falco is on a left page and was not. The volume was published as read in full; it was half read.
Two years old in 1809, so born about 1807.”ANTENATI an_ua14311 img44 — READ FROM THE IMAGE
