A FALCO WOMAN, and her daughter married a Falco man in 1872. NO KINSHIP IS CLAIMED and none is visible: her own parents are not in this act, and Arienzo holds several Pasqua Falco. HER OWN BIRTH IS NOT YET FOUND: aged 25 in Dec 1848, so born about 1823 — and the Tavola Alfabetica of Arienzo Nati 1823 (an_ua14420, image 114) has A PAPER SLIP LYING ACROSS THE COLUMN where FALCO falls. Not a nil, an obstruction — and the 1822 tavola (an_ua14419 img 140) is TORN at the same stretch. FamilySearch's separate filming holds no Pasqua Falco of Arienzo (control passed, 1,086 Falco at HTTP 200), and she is not in this archive's Arienzo death sweeps of 1816-1858.   “A NEW DAUGHTER for the OTHER Giuseppe Falco, found by reading the 1823 birth register end to end. «…nata da GELSOMINA VIGLIOTTA sua moglie legittima, di anni TRENTOTTO … nel giorno TRENTA del mese di MARZO … alle ore DIECI … il nome di PASQUA». Her mother's age agrees with this household's other act to within a year — thirty-two in 1816, thirty-eight in 1823. THE MARGIN RECORDS HER MARRIAGE: «A 30 Dic. 1880 l'uff. dello stato civile d'Arienzo … PASQUA FALCO con PASQUALE CARFORA», certified Caserta 27 Aug 1881. SHE IS NOT JOINED TO GIOVANNA ARRICALE'S MOTHER — but she is the ONLY Pasqua born at Arienzo in the whole window Giovanna's act implies: 1822 and 1823 were both read end to end, 239 acts, and 1822 holds no Pasqua at all. Joining them would marry the Camellara Falco to the strada Costa Falco on a forename and an age the clerks are known to have guessed by up to five years. See the corrections page
  
  Verified against the image, work-list row 58, and the act has a number: ATTO 38, beginning on IMAGE 40 RIGHT and continuing on 41 LEFT. «è comparso GIUSEPPE FALCO, di anni QUARANTADUE, di professione MASSARO DI CAMPAGNA, domiciliato in questo Comune strada Camellara, quale ci ha presentato una Femina … nata da GELSOMINA VIGLIOTTA sua moglie legittima, di anni trentotto … il nome di PASQUA», before VINCENZO MORGILLO Sindaco, with GIUSEPPE COSSI, calzolajo of strada Camellara as witness. And the margin is there and reads as published.
  
  One more point for the age series: Giuseppe Falco is forty-two and a massaro di campagna in March 1823 — against forty-eight and massaro in March 1824, forty and massaro on 2 April 1825, forty-five and contadino four days later, forty-six in 1826 and fifty-six and possidente in 1828.
  
  THE PLACE FIELD SAID strada COSTA UNTIL 21 SEPTEMBER 2026, AND THE ACT SAYS strada CAMELLARA — as the quotation two paragraphs above it always did. The street was carried forward from this household's 1816 act and never corrected when the 1823 act was read. It is the one row in the household where the field and its own evidence disagreed, and it mattered, because this is the very act on which the archive published that strada Camellara stopped telling the two Giuseppe Falco apart. Found by re-reading the act at the declarant band, work-list row 85.”

  “SHE MARRIED, AND THE ARCHIVE'S REFUSAL TO JOIN HER TO ANOTHER WOMAN IS VINDICATED. «Atto di solenne promessa di matrimonio, Num. d'ordine 29», 9 SETTEMBRE 1856: «…sono comparsi ANGELO MAJONE … figlio di FRANCESCO MAJONE DEFUNTO … e di MARTA DIGLIO DEFUNTA … e PASQUA FALCO, di anni TRENTATRE, nata in ARIENZO, domiciliata in Arienzo, figlia di GIUSEPPE FALCO di professione CONTADINO domiciliato in Arienzo, e di GELSOMINA VIGLIOTTA DEFUNTA». Thirty-three in September 1856 gives b. c.1823, and her birth act of 30 March 1823 is already held. THE MARGIN CERTIFIES THE CHURCH on the thirteenth of September. SHE IS NOT CALLED A WIDOW — and that is the whole point

  AND HER FATHER IS NOT MARKED DEAD. «figlia di GIUSEPPE FALCO, di professione contadino, domiciliato in Arienzo» — no «defunto», in an act that writes it three times over for the groom's parents and for her own mother. So Giuseppe Falco was living on 9 September 1856, twenty-one months later than this archive's previous latest sighting of him, his own remarriage of 13 December 1854.”

  “HER SECOND MARRIAGE, FROM THE MARGIN OF HER OWN BIRTH ACT — a document written fifty-seven years before it. «A 30 Dic.re 1880 l'Uf.le dello Stato Civile d'ARIENZO sposò PASQUA FALCO con PASQUALE CARFORA — 27 Agosto 1881». She married ANGELO MAJONE on 9 September 1856 at thirty-three; this makes her fifty-seven and, on the ordinary reading, a widow of Majone. THE ANNOTATION SITS ON ACT 38 OF 1823, her own — born 30 March 1823 to Giuseppe Falco, «il nome di PASQUA» — so the identification is physical rather than inferred. CARFORA is a surname this archive hunts elsewhere — Maria Carfora of Forchia, generation seven's grandmother, whose parents remain unreachable. Pasquale Carfora is NOT claimed as kin to her: the name is dense at Forchia and present at Arienzo, and nothing here joins them.”
