THIS HOUSEHOLD IS NOT JOINED TO ANY OTHER IN THIS ARCHIVE. It is recorded because work-list row 63 asked whether the Carfora were an Arienzo family at all, and the answer is that they were — three separate Carfora households appear in a single year of one register. Whether any of them is the house of «[?]erio Carfora and Pasqua Morgillo» is NOT established and is not claimed.
  
  Verified against the image, work-list row 58. It is ATTO 76 — and the street this archive left off the quotation is STRADA SIGNORINDICO, which its own register already knows in twenty-three other entries (spelt there Signorindio). That matters for the question this household was recorded to answer: Raffaele Carfora is NOT on strada Camellara, where Aniello and Antonio Carfora are. Two Carfora houses on the Falco street and a third somewhere else.”
