Act 74: «L'anno mille ottocento ventinove, il dì CINQUE del mese di OTTOBRE, ad ore ventitré … è comparso FRANCESCO CIOFFI, di anni TRENTASEI, di professione CONTADINO, domiciliato in questo Comune, strada CAMELLARA, quale ci ha presentato un MASCHIO … che lo stesso è nato da MARIA FALCO sua moglie legitima, di anni TRENTAQUATTRO … nel giorno CINQUE del mese di Ottobre, anno corrente, alle ore QUINDICI, nella casa sua propria d'abitazione … il nome di GIUSEPPE». Witnessed by VINCENZO DIGLIO, thirty-five, of strada Sant'Andrea, and LORENZO LIPARULO, forty-five. Baptised at Sant'Andrea Apostolo the following day.
  
  This archive holds a GIUSEPPE CIOFFI «the second» who died on 5 December 1830. Born 5 October 1829 he would be fourteen months old at that death, which fits, and the household's first Giuseppe died on 25 March 1824. The join is likely and is not claimed: the 1830 death act has not been re-read.
  
  Maria Falco is thirty-four here, thirty-five two years later in 1831, and thirty-two four years later in 1833. Her husband is thirty-six in 1829 and thirty-six again in 1831. The register is guessing both of them.”
