- named as dead — 9 Mar 1814 , Arienzo “A THIRD FALCO WOMAN MARRIED OUT, AND THIS ONE IS GIVEN THE HONORIFIC.
«figlio delli fu SIGNORI Bartolomeo Marrone, e MADDALENA FALCO» — dead before March 1814, and «Signori», which in these registers marks a family above the contadini and braccianti who fill them. Her son was old enough to be recorded without a stated age.
This archive now holds five Falco women of this generation married into other Arienzo houses — Francesca (Crisci), Margarita (Crisci), Angela (Rivieri), Rosa (Morgillo) and Maddalena (Marrone) — and it cannot attach any of them to its own line. They were all found in a single week, in the seven death volumes of 1809–1815 that had never been opened. The Falco of Arienzo were a larger family than this archive's tree has ever shown. This parish repeats its names relentlessly — there are three Maria Falco and four Pasquale. These are different people, kept apart on purpose rather than merged into one.
