Agueda RIVERO

Godmother at the baptism of Dominga Josefa Llerena, Canelones, 15 May 1804. "Vecina de la misma Villa." THIS ROW'S SOURCE AND ITS NOTE DISAGREE, FOUND 21 September 2026 BY OPENING THE PLATE. The note says this person stood godparent at the BAPTISM of Dominga Josefa Llerena, Canelones, 15 May 1804. The source field cites ark 3:1:3Q9M-CS2W-73LL-2, which is the CANELONES CONFIRMATION LIST - a page of one-line entries, opened and read on 21 September, on which this name does not appear in the portion read. Dominga Josefa's own row cites a DIFFERENT ark for her baptism, 3:1:3Q9M-CS2Z-W9V2-Y - film 008166571 image 01130, Nuestra Senora de Guadalupe, Canelones, 1804, which was also opened and is the right parish and the right year. THE LIKELIEST READING IS THAT THE ARK ON THIS ROW IS SIMPLY WRONG - the two were recorded in one sitting off one search and the citation was crossed - but it is NOT ASSUMED, because the alternative is that the note is wrong and this person is a confirmation godparent. NEITHER IS WRITTEN AS FACT. TEST: read film 008166571 image 01130 for the act of 15 May 1804 and see who signs as godparent. THE CONFLICT FLAGGED ON THIS ROW THIS MORNING IS RESOLVED, AND THE ARK WAS THE THING THAT WAS WRONG. So the note was right and the source field was wrong: this person is a godparent at the BAPTISM of Dominga Josefa Llerena, and the ark this row carried - 3:1:3Q9M-CS2W-73LL-2 - is the CANELONES CONFIRMATION LIST, a different film entirely. The ark is corrected to Dominga's own, 3:1:3Q9M-CS2Z-W9V2-Y, which resolves to this image. Two records taken down in one sitting off one search, and the citations crossed.
