  THE MOTHER DECLARED THIS BIRTH HERSELF — «La stessa ha in oltre dichiarato di dare allo stesso il nome» — with the father named only as «marito della stessa». The witness is CLEMENTE SANSONE, twenty-six, contadino, which is the surname settled from three other acts on 20 September 2026.

FALCO ANGELANDREA | Arienzo | FALCO VINCENZO, e CRISCI ANDREANA» ed «CIMMINO MARIA | Arienzo | CIMMINO ALESSANDRO, e SOLLI [ROSA]», the church date given as «29 MARZO» [1847] — READ AGAIN 20 Sep 2026 at 3,000 px, where the second digit carries a full descender loop; the act number 4 two rows above it on the same page has none. This archive published it as «24 MARZO». When Angelandrea's birth act of 12 September 1826 was published, it was DELIBERATELY NOT JOINED to «the ANGELO Falco who married Maria Cimmino in 1847 or the ANDREA Falco who married Maria Carmela», because the household held all three names and each of the other two was known only from a parish marriage act. THE CIVIL INDEX SETTLES ONE HALF: the man who married MARIA CIMMINO, daughter of Alessandro and Rosa Solli, is written ANGELANDREA — the exact name of the 1826 birth act — so ANGELO of the parish act and ANGELANDREA of the birth act are ONE MAN, married at TWENTY. The ANDREA who married Maria Carmela, daughter of Onofrio and Angela Imbimbo, REMAINS A SEPARATE SON and is still not joined to anything. DATE DISCREPANCY RECORDED, NOT RECONCILED: this tavola gives the church wedding as 24 March 1847 and the parish record held here gives 17 April 1847 — the same kind of civil-versus-parish disagreement already documented for Raffaele Falco's marriage of 1844”

  “«MINORE» — AND THAT ONE WORD CONFIRMS HIS BIRTH ACT. Act on img4r: «sono comparsi nella Casa Comunale ANGELANDREA FALCO MINORE, di anni venti[…], nato in Arienzo, di professione contadino, domiciliato in strada Camellara, figlio di VINCENZO FALCO, colono, e di ANDREANA CRISCI, filatrice … e MARIA CIMMINO maggiore … nata in Arienzo, domiciliata in strada Capodiconca, figlia di ALESSANDRO CIMMINO, contadino». Church 29 March 1847 at Sant'Andrea. Witnesses Gennaro Laudato and Francesco de Angelis. MAJORITY WAS TWENTY-ONE, so «minore» puts him under it — and his birth act of 12 September 1826 makes him twenty years and six months. The numeral itself carries a flourish and is not read beyond «venti[…]»; the word «minore» is what bounds him, and it is unambiguous. A DATE CONFLICT, RECORDED NOT RESOLVED: this archive also holds «Angelo Falco … m. Maria Cimmino» on 17 April 1847 from a parish ark — the same bride, three weeks later. Both are kept. AND THE ACT'S OWN INDICAZIONE COLUMN SETTLES THE CHURCH DATE, READ 20 SEPTEMBER 2026: «Il Parroco di SANT'ANDREA … ha certificato, che la celebrazione del matrimonio è seguita nel giorno VENTINOVE del mese di MARZO anno corrente» — the priest's own certificate, copied into the register, spelling the day out in words. The same day as the civil promise. The index's date was read here as «24 MARZO» and it is 29; under this system the church cannot precede the promise, so a 24 was impossible on its face. For contrast, act 20 of 1848 in the next volume has the promise on 19 August and the church on 23 August — four days later, which is the usual shape.”
