  “«è comparso Vincenzo Falco, di anni trentacinque, bracciale… strada Camellara… da Andreana Crisci sua moglie legittima, d'anni venticinque, un maschio… a cui si è dato il nome di Raffaele» — a FIRST child of this name, two years before the Raffaele of 10 May 1818. Ordinarily the first died — and this one did: he was buried on 28 October 1817, aged about eighteen months, «Raffaele Falco figlio di Vincenzo Falco, e d'Andreana Crisci», declared by two men entered as «PARENTI». That settles generation four: the Raffaele of 10 May 1818 is the one who lived. The sentence that used to stand here called it «an open question» and was left standing after the burial answered it — corrected 20 September 2026 VERIFIED WORD FOR WORD, 20 September 2026, work-list row 58 — act 56, image 30 left, before Daniele Sorice Sindaco. And the father's age is a problem worth stating: VINCENZO FALCO is THIRTY-FIVE here, which gives a birth about 1781 — eleven years before the baptism of 1 February 1792 that this archive read from the parish register, and two years older than the thirty-three he gives in March 1824. He got younger. The baptism dates him; the register does not.”

THIS IS THE BURIAL OF THE FIRST RAFFAELE, born 25 April 1816, and it settles generation four: the Raffaele of 10 May 1818 is the one who lived. Declared by Sabato Vassallo, 26, sportellaro of strada Porta di Sopra, and by GIUSEPPE FALCO, 37, massaro di campagna of strada Camellara, the two of them «PARENTI» — kin.”
