Johan Christiaan Pietersen
A PERSON NOBODY HAD. The second of Anna Catharina Slier's two sons by Hermanus Pietersen, baptised 28 April 1810 — thirteen months after his brother — and therefore a second half-brother to the Montjoy children. He appears on nothing else in this archive, and he is here because de Villiers's volume 3 lists him on the line below one this archive had already read wrong.

A person nobody had Johan Christiaan Pietersen, baptised 28 April 1810 — a second son, and a second half-brother to the Montjoy children. He is on nothing else this archive holds. And the marriage is dated. Fifty-eight years a widow.…

A dossier is every mention of a person anywhere in this archive, gathered automatically after the site is built and linked back to the page it appears on. Identity here is by NAME, not by resolved individual — where two people share a name they share this page, and the archive says so rather than guessing. Nothing on a dossier page is new evidence; it is the same evidence, brought together.
