Dr. D. Juan Ciriaco OTAEGUI (priest, 1833)
The priest who performed the baptism of Aurelio Eusebio Barros Lerena at the Catedral de Montevideo on 19 October 1833 and signed the act. This archive names the priest of every act it has read off a plate - Martin Perez in 1858, Juan Lloberas in 1811, Benito Alonso Covian in 1831, Ramon de Barbera in 1837, Rafael Yeregui in 1880 - because a signature dates and authenticates an act, and because a priest's hand is what a machine transcript is least able to read.
No record here names a parent, spouse, child or sibling for this person. This archive calls that unplaced: held, named, shown with the record that produced them, and not tied to a household on anything less.
