That resolves a contradiction this archive marked Serious (they were married by 1806, so the 1825 Cape Town marriage record is a different couple) and it rewrites the wall on the ancestor chart, which said only a family tree put her there. WHAT IS STILL NOT PROVED is that she is the mother of the 1812 man in the direct line.
The 1876 notice lists eight children and names no mother for any of them. They are drawn under this marriage because it is the only one recorded — not because the document says so.
