Born 4 NOVEMBER 1880 in the Departamento de SAN JOSE, daughter of ALBERTO LERENA and MARIA INES LARRIERA; married ADOLFO CORDERO at Montevideo on 28 FEBRUARY 1901; died at Montevideo 4 JANUARY 1945. Children ADOLFO ANGEL FAUSTINO (b.1905, the San Jose baptism that found her), MARIA ZELMIRA (b.1903, d.1984) and MARIA EUGENIA. She was flagged because the shape was right - a Uruguayan Lerena woman married to an Argentine in the decade this archive cares about. The shape was right and the substance is not: she has a father, a birthplace and a date, and none of them touches Pablo Armando. BUT HER FATHER IS WORTH A SECOND LOOK, AND IS NOT MERGED. ALBERTO LERENA, fathering a daughter in 1880, would be the right age to be ALBERTO OCTAVIO LERENA LENGUAS - born Montevideo 22 March 1850, son of Luis and Justiniana, and so a grandson of Sancho. He would be thirty. NOTHING JOINS THEM but a forename and an age, which is precisely the evidence that produced the two Arturos. If it held, Zelmira would be a great-granddaughter of Sancho - and that is a hypothesis to test, not a line to draw. 'SHE IS NOT OURS' IS RETRACTED, 21 September 2026. SHE IS OURS. This row named the one test that would change its own verdict - who her father Alberto Lerena was - and guessed ALBERTO OCTAVIO LERENA LENGUAS. IT IS THE OTHER GRANDFATHER. Alberto Lerena's own Montevideo death registration of 2 March 1921, certificate 246, names his wife MARIA INES LARRIERA and his parents AVELINO LERENA and AMBROSIA TREIBEL. So her father is PEDRO ALBERTO YSABELINO LERENA TRAIBEL, baptised at the Aguada on 21 November 1852, and ZELMIRA IS A GREAT-GRANDDAUGHTER OF SANCHO - which is what this row said would follow if the link held. The chain from her to Sancho now rests on an image at every step that matters.
