The Marriage Register
One page of a parish register closes the gap this archive was built around, and opens a marriage nobody in it knew about.
The first build of this archive said that the join at generation three rested on no document at all. It rested on one the whole time — attached in the family tree, absent from the GEDCOM export, and never read.

Generation three is now documented
The register names the groom's father and mother: Juraj Blažević and Tereza née Žubrinić. That is exactly the link this archive marked as Disputed — the join on which generations four to eight all hang.
It is a good witness. A marriage entry is written by the parish priest at the time, from the couple in front of him, with the banns and a dispensation recorded in the margin. It is not a later reconstruction, and it has no interest in anybody's pedigree.
Three things nobody had recorded
Milka had been married before
She marries in 1920 under the name Vukelić, and her status is udova — widow. The family tree carries her only as Milka Papić, wife of Ljubomir.
The media library holds a photograph captioned “Zvonomir and Milka Marriage”, and Hedviga's own list of immediate family on MyHeritage includes a Miroslava “Mica” Vukelić (1907–1993). A first husband named Vukelić and a daughter born in 1907 fit together, and would make Miroslava Hedviga's half-sister. Stated here as an inference — the first marriage record has not been read.
She was on the factory floor
In 1920 Milka is radnica — a worker — in the tobacco factory. The tree records her as supervisor of workers at the same factory. Both are true, thirty years apart: this is a documented promotion, and the only career progression visible anywhere in this archive. Senj and the factory →
Juraj was already dead
The groom's parents carry the annotation mrt. — deceased. Tereza Žubrinić is recorded in the tree as dying in 1931, eleven years after this entry, so the note is most consistent with applying to Juraj alone — giving him a death before December 1920, the first date of any kind attached to him.
If instead it covers both parents, then the tree's date for Tereza is wrong. Either way something has been learned, and it is worth resolving.
And it confirms the sailor
The tree gives Ljubomir's occupation as mornar / fisherman. The register, in 1920, says mornar — sailor. Confirmed from the record rather than from family memory.
A discrepancy worth keeping
The register says Ljubomir was born 1 March 1892. His gravestone at Senj says 1891.
The register wins. It was written in 1920 by a priest copying from a baptismal certificate, while the stone was cut after 1966 by people working from memory and from whatever the family then believed. This archive records the birth as 1 March 1892 and records the stone as wrong — which is worth saying out loud, because a gravestone looks like the most authoritative source in genealogy and frequently is not.
