It is a household that moved from the Orange River to the Natal border and stayed. And one that reaches across to the other branch. The same index holds “Anna Maria Viljoen Kolbe” with a Natal estate ( 1:1:QPHZ-23XS ) — the woman found this morning in the Burgersdorp baptism register as the mother of the other George Augustus Kolbe, the one born in 1861 and buried at Wakkerstroom. Both Kolbe households ended up in the same corner of Natal. Sixty-four Kolbe entries in that collection and this archive has read none of the files.…
