THREE HUSBANDS — Jacob van Staden, then Matthys Roos, then Booysen — and SIX CHILDREN, two van Stadens and four Rooses, NOT ONE OF THEM A BOOYSEN. That is why the four children this archive once drew under her are not hers.
NO CHILDREN BY HIM. This archive drew his four children here for a month because it could name this marriage and not the other. She was fifty-one at the wedding; and her own 1902 death notice lists SIX children — two van Stadens and four Rooses — and not one Booysen.
