Lisignano
Ližnjan
Named by the existing family research as the origin of a line that went to the United States and Germany — and never worked in an archive.
The received account gives Ližnjan as one of four directions the family dispersed in, onward to the United States and Germany. No register work has been done on it, and the 1945 census records no Defranceschi household here — which does not disprove the line, but does mean it had already gone by then.
Twenty-four registers survive, baptisms from 1683. Only fourteen are digitised, the lowest proportion of any parish in this study.
