Pedena
Pićan
The diocese Gologorica and Gračišće belonged to — but not the custodian of their registers.
A tiny bishopric with an outsized place in Istrian church history; in the Middle Ages both ecclesiastical and secular power at Pićan lay with the Patriarchs of Aquileia. Its own registers run from 1664 and are almost entirely digitised. One Defranceschi family was counted here in 1945.
