Caetano Bacchi
1779–?
This baptism is not his
| The tree says | Born 12 January 1779 — the tree's own note adds “(Maybe)” |
|---|---|
| The record says | A real Karlobag baptism of that date, but of a different man |
The Karlobag register of 12 January 1779 does record a Caetanus Antonius Bacchi, son of Angelo and Catharina, with a Captain as godfather and the wife of Dominus Georgius Uroda as godmother. But ahn 214's daughter Oliva Andreana died in 1795 and her daughter Oliva Maria Smojver was born 11 March 1781 — two years after this baptism. Two years cannot hold two generations. The right Caetano Bacchi belongs around 1730–1745, and this entry belongs to someone else of the name. Read it →

Family
The mark describes the person, not the link. Of the 3 relatives drawn here, 0 have a document of their own in this archive — but that is not the same as a document tying them to this person. This archive holds no separate proof for most parent–child links; where it does, the note above this chart says so in words.
Where this comes from
this archive has shown something recorded about them to be wrong.
1 image is attached to this person , of which 1 are documents rather than photographs.
1 correction or note has been recorded against this page — set out above, and listed on What changed.
Where this sits on the line
Ahnentafel 214 — generation 8 of Hedviga's descent. Every person's father is twice their own number and their mother twice plus one, so this person's parents are 428 and 429.
The register spells this surname more than one way, and the search folds the forms together — so Xubrinich and Žubrinić, Joannis and Ivan, find each other.

Documents and photographs
1 document and 0 photographs in the MyHeritage media library carry this person's tag. None of them travelled in the GEDCOM. All of them →
A tag says somebody linked this image to this person — not that the person is in it. A register page is tagged to everyone it names. Method →
Sources attached in the tree
None. This person carries no source string at all in the tree. They may still be right — but nothing here can be checked without going to the register. Method →
An online family tree is a witness, not a source. Where a citation points at a parish register or a FamilySearch image, that is the thing worth going to. Sources →
