Four years. The child's own name is entered with a question mark in the tree — Blazenka? — so the record was uncertain before this archive read it. Read it →

Disputed — this attachment does not hold

Vladimira Baricević cannot be the mother of his children

The tree saysJoannes Ivan Boras, born 1855, is married to Vladimira Baricević, born 12 December 1907 — a gap of 52 years — and fourteen children hang off her
The record saysNine of the fourteen were born before she was, between 1888 and 1906

The children are his; the wife is wrong. A woman born in December 1907 did not bear Anđelika in 1888, Draga in 1891, Marija in 1892, Budimir in 1894, Pava and Paulina in 1895, Olga in 1902 or Krešo in 1906 — nor Zdenka in the same year she herself was born. This is the single largest contradiction in the archive and it is one wrong link, not fourteen. Vladimira is a real person attached to the wrong generation, in exactly the shape already documented for Maria Catharina Orešković. Which of Joannes's wives actually bore them is not answerable from this file. Read it →

Noted

The same generation is skipped twice in this household

The tree saysTen children to Budimir Boras (1894–1954) and Marica Milković (b. 1904), and fourteen to Joannes Ivan Boras (b. 1855) and Vladimira Baricević (b. 1907)
The record saysEight of the ten are born 1923–1933; the other two in 1946 and 1960 — the second six years after the father died

Read together, the two generations make the same error. Domagoj (1946) and Vladimira (1960) are almost certainly grandchildren attached to their grandparents, and Vladimira Baricević, born 1907, is the right age to have married one of Joannes's sons rather than Joannes himself. If so, Joannes's real wife is missing from the record altogether — and one woman in the wrong slot accounts for eleven of the archive's sixty-three internal contradictions. a direct ancestor a record has been read for them an image, not yet read from the family tree, unverified

The mark describes the person, not the link. Of the 23 relatives drawn here, 3 have a document of their own in this archive — but that is not the same as a document tying them to this person. This archive holds no separate proof for most parent–child links; where it does, the note above this chart says so in words. 2relatives are named in the tree but fall outside the eight surnames and have no page.

Where this comes from

this archive has shown something recorded about them to be wrong.

1 image is attached to this person , of which 1 are documents rather than photographs.

Where this sits in the family

Not on the direct line. They are published because they belong to one of the eight surnames this archive follows.

The register spells this surname more than one way, and the search folds the forms together — so Xubrinich and Žubrinić, Joannis and Ivan, find each other.

None. This person carries no source string at all in the tree. They may still be right — but nothing here can be checked without going to the register. Method →

An online family tree is a witness, not a source. Where a citation points at a parish register or a FamilySearch image, that is the thing worth going to. Sources →
