Parentage of his son Ljubomir

The tree saysAsserted, with no document — this archive called it Disputed
The record saysDocumented: Senj marriages, 8 December 1920, page 366 entry 41

The marriage entry names the groom's parents as Juraj Blažević and Tereza r. Žubrinić, and annotates them mrt. — deceased — which puts Juraj's death before December 1920. He remains undated and unplaced, and nothing yet links him to Toma above. Read it →

Corrected against the register

Birthplace — the county is wrong

The tree saysSmokvica, Krmpote, Općina Smokvica, Dubrovačko-neretvanska županija
The record saysSmokvica Krmpotska, Općina Novi Vinodolski, Primorje-Gorski Kotar

Općina Smokvica in Dubrovnik-Neretva county is Smokvica on the island of Korčula, 400 km south. The village meant is Smokvica Krmpotska, inland from Novi Vinodolski, and the tree names it in the same string — Krmpote. This is a geocoder matching the wrong Smokvica, not anybody's claim, which is why it is corrected outright rather than merely noted. It matters: Smokvica kbr. 114 and the parish of sv. Jakov Krmpote are the whole of question 1b. Read it →

The mark describes the person, not the link. Of the 11 relatives drawn here, 6 have a document of their own in this archive — but that is not the same as a document tying them to this person. This archive holds no separate proof for most parent–child links; where it does, the note above this chart says so in words.

Where this sits on the line

Ahnentafel 4generation 3 of Hedviga's descent. Every person's father is twice their own number and their mother twice plus one, so this person's parents are 8 and 9.

The register spells this surname more than one way, and the search folds the forms together — so Xubrinich and Žubrinić, Joannis and Ivan, find each other.
