Where the name went
Five towns within a day's walk hold thousands of records under these three surnames. Almost none of them are this family — and knowing which is the whole problem.
A surname is not a family, and in this valley it is barely even a clue. The Antenati indexes hold 1,664 records under Falco, Zampiello and Annecchino across five neighbouring comuni. This archive can attach fewer than nine hundred of them to anybody.
The bars below are why the people page keeps a «★ my line» filter and why it was built on attachment rather than name-matching: name-matching alone would have pulled in every Pasquale Falco in the valley.

Paolisi is the one to sit with. It holds the largest Falco cluster in the valley — and a Francesco Falco «Casalis Paulisii» came from there to Arienzo in 1714, a generation before Matteo. Nothing joins him to this line, and the archive does not claim it. But if the Falco of Arienzo came from anywhere, Paolisi is where the next search goes.
Moiano holds all three surnames at once — 310 Falco, 104 Zampiello, 215 Annecchino — and shares the Morgillo with Arienzo. It has never been examined.
Where the name went after Italy
Brisbane, and almost nowhere else this archive can see. Generation eight crossed in the twentieth century and lies at Nudgee. There is no evidence here of a Falco diaspora to the Americas, to Argentina or to northern Europe — which is not the same as saying there wasn't one. It means nobody has looked, and the sources that would show it (passenger lists, naturalisations, parish books outside Campania) are on the list of things not yet read.
