Read linearly and in full for eight consecutive years, 1829 (an_ua14331, 65 images) through 1836 (an_ua14338). Every volume has a printed “Tavola alfabetica annuale de’ Morti” bound in at the back, and in Arienzo every one of them was left blank — which is why these years cannot be searched and must be read. Duplicate image bindings are intermittent and were mapped as encountered. | Yielded Pasquale Falco’s death act of 1 October 1834 — the record that closed the line’s oldest open question — and, four years earlier, his sister Rosa’s, which names the same parents from a second child. Also twelve other Falco deaths, strada Camellara as the family’s street, a second founding couple in Michele Falco and Vincenza Esposito, and the 1831 act naming Vincenzo Falco «parente». |

The unread shelf
321 volumes of processetti — the marriage dossiers — across five towns, and not one has been opened. They are the single largest body of evidence this archive knows about and has not touched, and they exist precisely to prove who could marry whom: a processetto gathers the baptism extracts and death certificates of everyone in the way of a wedding.
