What the registers say
- named — alive 1840–1843 , Arienzo, strada Cioffi “Named in THREE acts, all without «fu», so alive throughout: Morti 1840 atto 50 (17 Aug 1840), Morti 1842 atto 2 (2 Jan 1842) and Morti 1843 atto 17 (10 Jun 1843). The 1843 act was read at strip resolution and published as «DOMENICA Falco» — explicitly flagged at the time as a hypothesis, not a finding. The 1840 and 1842 acts, both read at 2600–2800px, give FRANCESCA. The correction stands beside the error in the notes rather than replacing it. NO ACT NAMES HER PARENTS, and the archive does not guess at them. She is NOT the older Francesca Falco who married Gioacchino Cioffi and whose son died at seventy-six in 1843 — that woman was born in the 1740s; this one is bearing children in 1840. Two women, two generations apart, each married to a Cioffi.”ANTENATI an_ua14342 img32l atto50
