Read out of a register, and not in the family tree

Andre Sedej and Maria Briz

Named as parent, about 1829-1830, Nova Oselica, Poljane valley — a Sedej household at Nova Oselica fathering children about 1829-30 - possibly Andrej and an earlier wife.

The family tree has never heard of this person. Every other person page in this archive is a record the MyHeritage export holds. This one is not: it exists because the register was read at the page, and it is kept beside the tree rather than put into it. The tree is an export and this archive does not edit it. Citation
Krstna knjiga Nova Oselica 1826-1862 (sig. 01584), image 14 - "ANDRE SEDEJ, ½ Hüblor" named as father, "MARIA BRIZ" as mother, in an entry the archive’s own year-heading dates to 1829 or 1830. FOUND WHILE WALKING THE REGISTER FOR URSULA SEDEJ’S OWN BAPTISM (found.psv, her row). THE WIFE’S NAME DOES NOT MATCH: Ursula’s mother in 1873 is JERA ROJE. Two readings are open and neither is settled - this is a DIFFERENT Andrej Sedej of the same generation and parish, or MARIA BRIZ IS A FIRST WIFE who died before Jera Roje married him, exactly the pattern this archive has already documented once, at Johann Kozina’s own house forty kilometres away. NOTHING HERE PROVES EITHER. ½ Hüblor is a half-cottager, a smaller holding than the GRUNTAR Ursula’s father is called in 1873, which is some evidence against the identification unless the household rose in the years between, which is exactly what this archive found at Zgornje Bitnje 9 as well.
