- FamilySearch, Croatia Church Books 1516-1994, Brinje Matična knjiga rođenih 1897-1900 (third item on the same film as DGS 005498262, waypoint 9R26-82S), image 434 (right-hand page, first entry; page 59), entry no. 99 - "JAVOR ANE", female, born 28 and registered 31 August (kolovoza) 1898, of Brinje house 83, daughter of JAVOR IVAN, whose occupation is written 'z.vomar' (as read: possibly 'zvonar', a bell-ringer, which agrees with the 'mežnjar' of 1893 and with a church servant's recurring presence as informant), and BORIĆ ANE, a house-wife. Informants "Sertić Tome i Marija". THE JAVOR IVAN x BORIĆ ANE HOUSEHOLD OF HOUSE 83 IS THEREFORE CONTINUOUS FROM 1891 TO AUGUST 1898 (Ruže, Ivan, Marica, Luce-Mila, Ane): the Župančić-wife Javor of houses 82/83 (1895, 1897, given name Ive) and the Mačkonić-wife Javor Ivan of house 123 (1897) are best read as SEPARATE households, and the 'Borić Kate' of the 1893 entry may be a misread given name of Ane (not established). The occupation of this Javor Ivan is a church-servant trade in 1893 (read 'mežnjar') and, if the 1898 word is read 'zvonar', again in 1898, which supports but does not prove that one man is meant.
