Witnesses "BORIĆ VUJO" and Sertić Ruže. NOT IN THE TREE. A NEW Sertić-Borić couple, kept separate from the Sertić Jure and Tauka Borić already in this file at Kamenica house 13 (parents of Ivan, born 1893, and Niko, born 1896) - a different house number and a different given name for the Borić wife, though the shared given name Jure for both Sertić husbands is left unexplained: possibly the same man with two households, possibly two different men, not established. SECOND READING AT CLOSE ZOOM, 5 OCTOBER 2026 (image 431, left-hand page, second entry; page 52): the entry is headed 14 (kolovoza) AUGUST 1898 and says born 10 AUGUST, not October; the house reads Kamenica 29 (28 in the first pass); the informants are 'Borić Vijo i Sertić Ruže' (Vijo Borić is the father of the Borić Marija entries of 1895 and 1898, this file). Ten days later (20 August 1898) a Jure Sertić and BORIĆ TANKA have a son Franjo at Kamenica 13 (this file): either a confusion of Franca and Tanka by the clerk, or two Jure Sertić households each with a Borić wife; not settled.
