Born about 1841, DIED AT TWO, AT OBERFEICHTING 9 - the house Johann Kosina held as Häusler from 1833, where Martin was born in November 1841 and where Franz died in 1849. A HÄUBLER'S SON at that house in 1843 is Johann's son, and so a brother of ANTON 1834 and PETRUS 1836. NOT PROVED: this book names no parents. THE COUNT IS NOW SETTLED AND IT DOES NOT HELP HIM. On 27 September 2026 the whole K section of the 1832-1870 baptismal index (sig. 04632, images 246 and 247, entry 1 to entry 369, 1832 to 1870) was read end to end. It holds SIX Kozina and no more: Anton 1834 p.18 - Petrus 1836 p.33 - Martin 1841 p.64 - Francisca 1853 p.130 - Ana 1856 p.144 - MARIA 1859 p.159. The old count of five was short by one, and the one it had missed is MARIA 1859, not Joseph. THERE IS NO JOSEPH IN THAT INDEX. So either he was baptised outside the parish, or this index missed him the way the death index for the same years missed nine Kozina. The second is the likelier of the two on this archive’s own evidence, and neither is proved. Found by walking the register on 27 September 2026; THE INDEX DOES NOT LIST HIM.
