Read out of a register, and not in the family tree
Jure Borić and Matija, informants at Brinje house 127 (1897)
Witness at a baptism, 20 August 1897, Brinje, Croatia — named as informants at the birth of Sertić Matija, of Brinje house 127 - not in the tree.
The family tree has never heard of this person. Every other
person page in this archive is a record the MyHeritage export holds. This one is not: it exists
because the register was read at the page, and it is kept beside the tree rather than
put into it. The tree is an export and this archive does not edit it.

What the register says
- Event
- witness at a baptism
- Date
- 20 August 1897
- Place
- Brinje, Croatia
- Citation
- FamilySearch, Croatia Church Books 1516-1994, Brinje Matična knjiga rođenih 1893-1897 (DGS 005498262, waypoint 9R26-82S), image 383 (left-hand page, second entry; page 368), entry no. 77 - the informants are written "Borić Jure i Matija". The child is SERTIĆ MATIJA, female, born 14 and registered 20 August (kolovoza) 1897, of house 127, daughter of Sertić Niko and Dumančić Ane. The same pair, Borić Jure and Matija, stood at the Sertić house in September 1895 (Sertić Mijo, whose mother is Borić Luce, house 289, this file), so a Borić Jure x Matija couple is now tied to two Sertić births two years apart - plausibly the parents of a Borić Luce who married into the Sertić family; the entries do not say so; not merged. FOUND ON 5 OCTOBER 2026 ON THE FULL READABLE-ZOOM RE-READ OF THE SECOND BIRTHS BOOK (1893-1897).
