Jure Fröhlich and Marija, informants at Brinje house 249 (1895)

Witness at a baptism, 13 January 1895, Brinje, Croatia — named as informants at the birth of Kalanj Manole, of Brinje house 249 - not in the tree.

The family tree has never heard of this person. Every other person page in this archive is a record the MyHeritage export holds. This one is not: it exists because the register was read at the page, and it is kept beside the tree rather than put into it. The tree is an export and this archive does not edit it. What the register says

Event
witness at a baptism
Date
13 January 1895
Place
Brinje, Croatia
Citation
FamilySearch, Croatia Church Books 1516-1994, Brinje Matična knjiga rođenih 1893-1897 (DGS 005498262, waypoint 9R26-82S), image 281 (right-hand page, second entry; page 165), entry no. 11 - the informants are written "Fröhlich Jure i Marija". The child is Kalanj Manole, daughter of Mijo Kalanj and Krnarić Manole (the entry of 10 January 1895 already in this file). Jure Fröhlich's wife is Marija KALANJ (children 1891 and 1894, this file), so a Kalanj woman and her husband stand at the birth of a Kalanj child - the best evidence yet in this book that the Fröhlich household and the Mijo Kalanj household are kin, though the entry does not state a relationship. FOUND ON 5 OCTOBER 2026 ON THE FULL READABLE-ZOOM RE-READ OF THE SECOND BIRTHS BOOK (1893-1897).
