Jure Kalanj, informant at Brinje house 72 (1888)

Witness at a baptism, 4 October 1888, Brinje, Croatia — named as an informant at the birth of Zoričić Ivan, of Brinje - not in the tree.

The family tree has never heard of this person. Every other person page in this archive is a record the MyHeritage export holds. This one is not: it exists because the register was read at the page, and it is kept beside the tree rather than put into it. The tree is an export and this archive does not edit it. FamilySearch, Croatia Church Books 1516-1994, Brinje Matična knjiga rođenih 1888-1900 (DGS 005498262, waypoint 9R26-82S), image 35, entry no. 105 - the baptism of "ZORIČIĆ IVAN", male, born 2 and registered 4 October 1888, of Brinje house 72, son of ZORIČIĆ STJEPAN and RADOTIĆ STOJA; the informants' line reads, at close zoom, "Kalanj Jure i Rumenović Dare", matičar Kanett Rafael. NOT IN THE TREE. FOUND ON 5 OCTOBER 2026 ON THE FULL READABLE-ZOOM RE-READ. A Jure Kalanj in the first year of the register, with the Rumenović name that recurs beside the Kalanj families of house 231 (Rumenović Tomo at Luce Kalanj's birth and Niko Kalanj's marriage, this file); very probably the Jure Kalanj of house 231, but the entry gives no house number for him, so he is recorded by name and not merged.
