Kate Hofjevac, wife of Jure (Grgo) Hofjevac (house 160, 1898)

Birth of a child, 6 November 1898, Brinje, Croatia — mother of Hofjevac Kate, of Brinje house 160 - the mother's own surname is again entered as HOFJEVAC (as in the Hofjevac Bare entry of November 1896, house 165, this file); the father is entered "Jure (Grgo)" - not in the tree.

The family tree has never heard of this person. Every other person page in this archive is a record the MyHeritage export holds. This one is not: it exists because the register was read at the page, and it is kept beside the tree rather than put into it. The tree is an export and this archive does not edit it. Informants "Perkić Mijo i Kate" (the standing informant Perkić Mijo; not Perković). A note in the margin corrects the birth date to 6 November; a later note says she married a man read as Livarić Tomu and died on 2 September 1982 (entered at Zagreb, 31 December 1982). Whether this Kate is the Kate Perković of the earlier Hofjevac Jure entries (Marko 1892, Manole 1894, Luka 1896, this file) is not stated: the Hofjevac Jure entries now give her as Perković (1892, 1894, 1896) and as Hofjevac (1896, 1898), and the two father's names Jure and Grgo are given for the same entry. Recorded as read; the Hofjevac house numbers 148, 158, 160, 165 and 168 all occur for the family. FOUND ON 5 OCTOBER 2026 ON THE FULL READABLE-ZOOM RE-READ OF THE THIRD BIRTHS BOOK (images 404-489).
