- FamilySearch, Croatia Church Books 1516-1994, Brinje Matična knjiga rođenih 1888-1900 (DGS 005498262, waypoint 9R26-82S), image 153 (left-hand page, first entry; page 288), entry no. 142 - "ZORIČIĆ ŠIMUN", male, born 1 and registered 3 November 1891, of Brinje house 70, son of ZORIČIĆ PAVE and a mother whose surname is written in the hand's 'Perkonić' form, given name KATE, both of Brinje, farmers, Croats. Informants "Zoričić Ivan i Milaković Kate", matičar Sertić Šimun. A later margin note records the child's marriage to a Bosanac woman (a 1963 registration) and his death on 30 March 1963. NOT IN THE TREE. FOUND ON 5 OCTOBER 2026 ON THE FULL READABLE-ZOOM RE-READ. The v-as-n form again: a Perković woman, a fifth Perković wife of 1889-91 (after Jurajić Manole, Javor Kate, Vuković Ane and Komadina Marija, this file) and a third Perković Kate (with the Javor and Hofjevac wives). Not merged with either. Recorded because the margin note names the child's later life, which this file's other Perković children lack. RESOLVED 6 OCTOBER 2026 BY THE MARRIAGE BOOK: Pave Zoričić of house 72 was a WIDOWER when he married the widow Kate Borić on 28 September 1896 (image 641, this file), so this Perković Kate (1891) and the Kate Borić who is the mother of Zoričić Ruže (1897) are two successive wives of one man, not one woman.
