- FamilySearch, Croatia Church Books 1516-1994, Brinje Matična knjiga vjenčanih 1888-1899 (DGS 005498262, waypoint 9R26-82S), image 595 (right-hand page; page 205), entry no. 3 of 1894 - married at Brinje on 21 (dvadesetjedan) siječnja 1894: "BORIĆ LUCE", djevojka (MAIDEN - the first pass read widow), 27 years, born at Brinje house 126, daughter of BORIĆ IVE and MARE; bridegroom "SERTIĆ PAVE" (read Tove by the first pass), momak (bachelor), 28 years, born at Brinje house 289 (not 288), son of SERTIĆ MIJO and MANOLE. Witnesses BORIĆ JURE and Radotić Marko (re-read at close zoom 6 October 2026). The 1893 marriage of her brother Vijo (this file) names the same parents. NOT IN THE TREE. LIKELY SIBLING OF JUKO BORIĆ, STATED AS A LIKELIHOOD AND NOT ASSERTED: Juko Borić (this file, image 533) is recorded as son of "Borić Ivan" at the same Brinje house 126, marrying in 1890. "Ive" is the ordinary short form of "Ivan," and a shared house number this exact is not a coincidence this archive has seen elsewhere without it meaning something — but the two records do not name each other, and no baptism ties them together, so this stays a strong likelihood rather than a fact. NOT the same "Ive Borić" who married at Kamenica in July 1893 as son of Jozo Borić (this file, image 586) — that man cannot be a 27-year-old woman's father six months after his own first marriage; two different men named Ive Borić are now on record.
