Informants "Rumenović Tomo i Stoja", matičar Sertić Šimun. NOT IN THE TREE. FOUND ON 5 OCTOBER 2026 ON THE READABLE-ZOOM RE-READ, IN A STRETCH (images 1-299) THE FIRST PASS HAD LOGGED AS READ. A clear Kalanj in a clean hand, missed at spread-fit zoom. It is the same house 231, father Jure and mother Vučetić Manole as the 1891 Marija, the 1892 Marko, the 1894 Ove and the 1899 Ruže Kalanj (this file), so that household now has five children on record across ten years, 1889-1899, and Luce is the oldest. The informant Rumenović Tomo is the same Rimenović Tomo who witnessed the 1890 marriage of Niko Kalanj of house 231 (this file). It is also the name 'Luce Kalanj' that recurs as a witness at house 249 in 1899 (this file), which is a named link, not a proven one: she would have been nine. CORRECTION OF 5 OCTOBER 2026, FOUND ON THE LATER RE-READ OF IMAGE 79: THERE ARE TWO IDENTICAL ENTRIES FOR THIS CHILD. Entry no. 137 (image 79, right-hand page, second entry; page 141) reads 'KALANJ LUCE', female, born 25 and registered 28 NOVEMBER 1889, of Brinje house 231, daughter of Kalanj Jure and Vučetić Manole, informants 'Rumenović Tomo i Stoja'; entry no. 155 (image 84), described above, is the same child with the same parents, house and informants but the month written as DECEMBER (born 25 and registered 28 December). A child cannot be born in both months, so one is a clerical duplication or a wrong month; the entries do not say which, and this row records ONE person with both dates. The row's text above keeps the December entry's citation.
